Grace United Methodist is growing church on the island of Venice in southwest Florida. We are a vibrant United Methodist Church, incorporating people of all backgrounds, ages, and experiences, to help share God's grace on the island, and around the world!
Worship is the heart of what we do here at Grace. It informs our ministry, our mission, and our outreach. It guides and directs our efforts as we seek to love all people - where they are, as they are.
Below you can explore the various styles of worship we offer.
How long is a service at Grace?Â
In total, a worship service at Grace is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with a greeting and incorporate prayer and music throughout. All of the music lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message.
What's the culture like at Grace?
Sundays at Grace are exciting and engaging. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. We have children all the way up to folks over 90 years young at our services each week. Some come in ties, beautiful dresses and hats, others come in shirts, shorts, and sandals. We just love to create a space for all of us to come and worship together.
What about my kids?Â
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Grace Kidz, we make this a priority. For all of our infants and preschool children at the 9:00am service, parents can take them to their class at the beginning of worship by following the signs to their room. Our other children will stay with you for worship and be dismissed during the service for Sunday School and Youth Group. Grace Kidz is offered for kids ages infant through Grade 8 on Sunday mornings at our 9:00am service.
Our 11:00am service is a family-friendly service and childcare is available in our nursery for this service.
